Reports: SIP Comparison Data for 2005-2006

Student Comments:
  • Going over past tests and the study guide helped me the most for the exams.
  • I did so well on my tests when I attended SIP and the one test I did without an SIP session, I got a 68!
  • In short, SIP is a great thing and really shows on my test.
  • SIP saved me this time around in this course. I can say that I truly understand the material, not just enough to get by. Thanks for all your hard work!
  • Great Job!
  • SIP is a great program that encouraged me to do my best. Through this program I stayed motivated and eager to learn more.
  • SIP helped me understand the information presented in class in a more simplistic manner. My SIP Leader had a great understanding of the course and of all the concepts we, as a class, discussed. He was able to answer my questions and provide a more simplistic view of the information, in which I could understand and apply to a testing scenario.
  • The SIP program I attended was great. I always left knowing more than I did when I came in.
  • The best thing about SIP was having the SIP Leader or my peers bring to light some subject matter that may have been unclear in the lecture or in my own study time. This unique way of understanding or enhancing the understanding of the subject matter could be stressed, so that if students come to SIP it would benefit themselves and enhance their fellow students' understanding of the material. We can all learn from each other. Finally, I believe that all the regular SIP students did dramatically improve their test scores, this point could also be stressed when mentioning SIP to new classes.
