Computer Use Guidelines
To help us keep our computers in top working order, we also have some guidelines that we would like students to follow. Click here for a list of these guidelines.
Special Support Services has a variety of reference books available for students. Our library includes dictionaries (both English and foreign language), APA and MLA writing guides, as well as reading, writing, and math skills workbooks. We also have GRE, LSAT, Praxis, and MCAT Preparation Books, and a variety of current textbooks and videotapes specifically chosen to aid students with difficult classes.
Study skills handouts are also available, located in the bins on the walls outside the lab entrance. These handouts were created to address problems students may encounter with such issues as time management, concentration, motivation, test-taking, reading, and writing. There are handouts that also reference websites where students can improve skills when lab software is not available. Current information on course schedules, announcements, etc., can also be found in this area of the learning lab.
