Success Outcomes

UNCG's Special Support Services program, originally funded in 1970, continues to assist first-generation and low-income college students in breaking down the barriers to successful higher education. We continually strive to evaluate ourselves and our services to better serve our student population. We encourage you to take a few minutes to review this sampling of the data we have collected.

Annual Cohort Study by Freshman Class
Each year, the Office of Institutional Research conducts a cohort study analyzing rates of retention, academic standing status, grade point average, predicted grade point average and graduation for eligible participants, eligible non-participants and all first-time freshmen at UNCG. Below, please find PDF documents containing the cohort study findings and program director's narrative concerning the data.
