SSS - Tutoring

Tutoring

The SSS Tutoring Component's purpose is to develop independent learners and improve student academic performance. All SSS tutoring is free and the tutoring sessions are primarily conducted on a one-on-one basis; group tutoring may occur if there is a shortage of tutors for a subject in high demand. We offer tutoring in 100-400 level courses and expect students participating in the tutoring component to make it a weekly commitment.

All SSS students may receive one (1) hour of tutoring in three (3) courses per week. Tutoring is assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis and tutoring hours are assigned according to the availability of the tutors at the time of request.
