UNCG Advisors and Advising Centers
Each of UNCG’s schools and colleges has an academic advising center staffed with professional advisors who offer both scheduled advising appointments and drop-in hours for students. Your advising center is always a great place to start if you have academic advising related questions.
In some schools and colleges, students are assigned a professional academic advisor that they’ll work with from the moment you declare their academic major until the day you graduate. In others, you may start with a professional advisor and then eventually transition to working with a faculty advisor who also teaches in your academic major. Registration Dates and Deadlines
