The Transfer2Transfer (T2T) program matches new transfer students with continuing transfer students. Mentor Collective, UNCG platform partner, handles the matching process, using the matching survey submitted by peer mentors and mentees. Matches are based on the following criteria:

  • Mentee’s top matching criterion
  • Desired mentor’s major
  • Career interests
  • Desired mentoring frequency Academic interests
  • Details about self
  • Challenges
  • Hobbies
  • Requested age
  • Languages

Once students are matched, peer mentors ae expected to connect with their mentee once per month and log each conversation in the Mentor Collective Student Dashboard (an online tool used to track mentorship engagement).
