Why should you join TrACE?

You should join because everyone there is there to help you succeed both in your personal life and academic career. It is also a way to meet new people.

from a current TrACEr:

Join TrACE, it’s a great opportunity to meet new people and receive help. This year was my first time being at a university so having a support system of people who would always find the answer to my questions destressed me.

from a current TrACEr:

Join!!! I genuinely believe that transferring to UNCG would've looked very different without the support I received from this organization. No department on campus has an advisor that you can work with as closely as I have been able to with Dr. Emily and I have been able to connect more with the campus that I might have without.

from a current TrACEr:

I highly recommend TrACE because of all the benefits. You instantly become a part of a community at UNCG, and you get rewarded for participating! For 2023-24 transfer students who choose to join, I genuinely look forward to meeting you all this fall!

from a current TrACEr:

What kinds of support have you received through TrACE?

I have received many kinds of support through TrACE. Through the gap tuition and textbook program I receive financial support. Through our TrACE advisor, I received support in creating my degree plan, vetting potential internships, editing essays for applications, and creating a resume.

from a current TrACEr

From TrACE, I have received academic, financial, and personal support whenever I sought it. Dr. Emily has been a good supporter because she is open to hearing about anything that us transfers have going on at UNCG. This spring, she helped me craft responses for an interview that I had.
